Born and raised in Springfield, Ohio.  A 23 year veteran of the U. S. Navy,

Pastor Mitchell accepted Jesus as Lord and received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit at North Park Apostolic Church, San Diego Ca. in 1982.   He was ordained a minister at Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ, Pensacola Fla. in 1984.  He and his family subsequently became members of Brownsville Assembly of God, Pensacola Fla. where he was mentored and trained under Pastor John Kilpatrick.

           After retiring from the Navy he and his family settled in Virginia Beach, Va.   He was ordained an Elder at Centerville Christian Fellowship Church in 2004.  After responding to the call of God the Kingdom World Outreach Center, Inc. (KWOC) was birthed in March of 2005.

           At the heart of KWOC’s vision is the development of the body of Christ, training and equipping God’s people for Kingdom business.  As a member of the World Harvest Church Ministerial Fellowship under Pastor Rod Parsley of Columbus OH, KWOC’s passion is to see lives changed through the effective preaching and teaching of the word of God.

           Pastor Mitchell has been employed at the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) since 2002.  He served as the lead Executive Protection Agent (Armor bearer) for Dr. M.G. “Pat” Robertson and was then appointed Chief of Police.

He and Sheila, his wife of 28 years have three children, Natosha Mitchell, Chris Jr. and Joshua.
